About This Item: The Planet Waves Humidipak for Guitar is a maintenance-free two-way humidity control system.
Once activated (by opening each individual sealed-pack), this unique two-way humidity control system completely eliminates all the guesswork and anxiety from maintaining your instrument's proper humidity level.
This kit includes one headstock pouch, one sound-hole pouch, three Humidipak gel-packets, and easy to follow instructions.
Slip one gel pack in the headstock pouch and two gel-packs in the sound-hole pouch. Simply place the headstock pouch somewhere near the headstock or neck in your guitar case, and slip the sound-hole pouch between the strings of your guitar so that it hands into the sound-hole. To retrieve it, simply grab the convenient pull-tag.
Standard Humidipak packets have the capacity to provide 27 grams of water per packet. That's enough moisture to complete restore an extremely dry guitar to 45% RH without the risk of over-hydration. At the same time the standard packet can absorb more than 11 grams of water, enough to completely restore a very wet instrument to 45% RH.
